Neo-Metro began in 1998 as a luxury product line to its father company, Acorn Engineering Company, which specializes in plumbing fixtures for institutional applications. After an article in the Wall Street Journal told of a family home in San Diego, Ca. which used stainless steel prison fixtures instead of traditional wood & ceramic home decor, Neo-Metro decided to become much more than a product line.
While keeping the Acorn preference for stainless steel, Neo-Metro branched off to become its own division of Morris Group International, previously Acorn Family of Companies. Product modifications and brand new designs were implemented to fit more home décor. Soon after, a basin/faucet partnership with Kohler and multiple successes with the Home & Bath program & various trade shows further expanded the product line.
These days, Neo-Metro caters mainly to the hospitality industry, with hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, sports arenas and trendy bars making up the majority of its loyal clientele. Neo-Metro products have been featured on television, in product placement & celebrity homes, and maintain the California devotion to quality, design, and luxury.
